As you are researching vendors for your wedding, you will undoubtedly have a list of questions that will need to be answered in order make the best decision on who to hire that will be the best fit for your big day. I have created a list of frequently asked questions that can help you learn more about my wedding photography experience, style, and process! How do I reserve my wedding date and is there a deposit?
In order to reserve your date, I require a $300 non-refundable deposit (it will go towards your package balance) and a signed contract. Then we are all set and can start chatting more about your engagement session and wedding! The remaining balance is due once your photos have been edited and I’m ready to send you access to your online gallery.
Are there travel charges?
Events within 4 hours of Woodbury, Minnesota are included at no additional charge. Events that take place within the midwest have no additional travel fee but may have a charge for overnight accommodations. Please inquire for more details or a custom quote unique to your destination.
How many photos do you deliver and what is the turnaround time?
Each package I offer has a minimum number of photos you will receive. However, I will not hold back photos simply because that number was reached. You will receive as many edited photos as it takes to tell your love story!
What happens if I lose my images?
After your event, images are loaded to your private online gallery where they will remain at minimum 2 years. During this time I recommend downloading them to your computer or saving them to a flash drive. If it has been over 2 years and your photos are no longer online I will always have them backed up on my numerous hard drives. All you need to do is send me an email and I will re-upload them for you.
What are engagement sessions like?
Engagement sessions are about capturing your love in its most authentic form. I know that it can feel strange to get in front of a camera, especially if you don’t really know the person behind it. I make a point to spend time getting to know my couples, both before and during our session, so that we can work together as naturally as possible. My goal is to have you feeling calm in front of the camera.
What should we wear to our engagement shoot?
It is important to wear something that you are comfortable in, a cute summer dress or button up for the gentlemen, or a fun top and jeans. You can also bring another outfit for a second change. This outfit can be anything you want! Something a little fancier or another casual outfit. Everything depends on where we are shooting, what time of year it is, and who you are!
